MacQuigg Financial is a boutique CPA firm providing fractional CFO, controller, accounting, and bookkeeping services to small and mid-sized businesses in the Pacific Northwest for the past 15 years.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant who can step in quickly, take ownership of client relationships, and operate with minimal oversight in a remote-first environment.

This role is ideal for a highly competent professional who thrives in autonomy, communicates with precision, and brings steady leadership to both clients and team members.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage a small portfolio of client engagements with confidence and accountability
• Oversee month-end close, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
• Review the work of staff accountants and provide training and mentorship
• Communicate directly with business owners and firm leadership

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong technical accounting skills with experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional time management and organizational discipline
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment
• Confidence interacting directly with clients and leading small teams

This position is primarily remote. Occasional client on-site visits may be required (if covering for other team members) and we gather annually for an in-person company retreat.
